All About School's Out...
School's Out Sport Fishing is Milwaukee and Chicagoland's foremost sport fishing charter. Conveniently located in Racine, Wisconsin, you are only a short distance from an exciting day on the water. School's Out Sport Fishing was established in 2018 by Captain Shane, who has been a United States Coast Guard licensed captain since 2013. The School's Out fleet includes the Summer School, a 34ft Pursuit and the School's Out, a 35ft Luhrs Alura. Both are equipped with top of the line fishing gear to ensure your experience is the best.
In addition to charter fishing, Captain Shane competes in regional salmon fishing tournaments. Experiencing the excitement of the Great Lakes with customers is his passion. In the summer months, School's Out runs another vessel with Captain Sarah in command, which also allows for larger group charters. And finally, in early spring and late fall, Shane is available for Lake Erie walleye trips with lodging near Port Clinton, Ohio.

Captain Sarah Sandahl

Captain Sarah has been fishing Lake Michigan since 2009. In 2013, she began fishing local trout and salmon tournaments where she earned the Salmon Unlimited IL Boat of the Year title in 2017 fishing with Team Fish N Crew. In 2016 and 2017, she fished with the Doctor's Orders team and won back to back Salmon Unlimited WI Boat of the Year titles.

Captain Sarah began working as a first mate in 2016 and joined the School's Out crew in 2018. In 2021, she earned her merchant mariner credential and now captains the School's Out.
​
In the off season, Captain Sarah works as a middle school PE and health science teacher. She enjoys hunting and fishing, photography, and spending time with her dogs.
